When Seattle Shakes: Preservation and resilience
is coming soon!
When Seattle Shakes was developed with both professionals and the public in mind. The website includes a wide range of resources. From disaster preparedness trainings for architects to a how-to guide for creating your own disaster preparedness safety kit. We hope that the exhibit information impacts our audience and gives them the tools to be more prepared in the face of a natural disaster. The full website will go live on Thursday, February 4th, 2021.
Exhibition features:
Diversity of perspectives and points of view regarding reinforcing URMs.
Resources for taking action, continued learning, and preparedness.
Overview of Seattle’s seismic risks and building stock.
A broad view of challenges and solutions with specific examples from around the world.
